In Kallahdenniemi, you sense the changing seasons. An autumn storm in November at the tip of the cape or the sea smoke on a clear January day in freezing temperatures offer a magnificent contrast to a bird watching trip in the spring or to sweltering hot, leisurely summer days on the beach. The trees on the sandy esker are impressive, lofty old pines. The bilberry, uva-ursi, crowberry and other similar shrubs cover the ground. The sea shimmers on both sides of the esker.
