Arrival instructions
When traveling along the Helsinki-Hanko road, turn left onto road number 1102 (signposted for Snappertuna-Raseborg) and continue for just under 5 kilometres to a crossing, where you turn left. After traveling a further 100 metres, take a right turn at the bendy intersection next to a shop. Continue for approximately 200 metres and then turn left toward Hostnäs. After approximately 5 kilometres, turn right toward Lövö. You will arrive at Kolaholmen after driving slightly more than one kilometre.
The Kolaholmen recreation area is on the eastern side of Tammisaari and is a good place to stop for a short visit. The area is part of the old state forest and contains small-leaved lime, Siberian larch, and Douglas fir. There is also a small sandy beach in Kolaholmen.

There is no winter maintenance on the area.
Accessibility
There are no unobstructed services, but the 150 meter long track to the beach is in good condition and quite flat.

The area is close to the neighbouring Uuvi recreation areas of Lövö and Långö.
