Linlo is a versatile destination where you can easily spend several hours. The island’s greenery surrounds you in the alder groves and spruce forests; irises bloom and bilberries are ready to be picked and popped in your mouth. The island has different rock formations: there is a high rocky observation hill, steep seaside cliffs, polished rock surfaces, tilted outcrops and boulders abandoned by the Ice Age.

Destination information
Linlo’s marine recreational island is located between Porkkalanniemi and Upinniemi. You can reach the island along a pedestrian bridge from Linlo marina. The cooking shelters in the area offer protection from rain. Apart from its most northern part, the island is part of the Natura 2000 network.
Routes
There are numerous natural paths to choose from but there are no marked routes in the area.
Accessibility
There is an accessible pedestrian bridge onto the island. There is an accessible campfire site at the island end of the bridge. The rest of the trails are uneven, narrow and rocky. Linlo also has elevation differences and stairs.
