Destination information
There is a ferry service to the island. In addition to the jetty for the ferry service, there are also approximately ten spots for mooring a boat in the guest harbour.
Stora Herrö has a well, but its water is not drinkable.
The majority of the island’s north and east shores are open to visitors, but the island has private cottages as well, whose privacy must be respected.
Accessibility
Stora Herrö is not an accessible destination. The only way around the island is on forest paths and there are elevation differences.
