Destination information
Tallholmen is meant for anyone looking for outdoors recreation, a place to camp or a place to take a break when out at sea. Long-term camping is subject to a charge.
There are two saunas on the island. One of them is for visitors and the other one belongs to the villa on the island. The freshwater reserves in the island’s well are limited and the water from the bored well does not always pass the requirements for drinking water. Thus, you have to bring drinking water with you. However, the water in the well is good for throwing on the stones in the sauna; seawater must not be used for that.
The Tallholmen shore can also be reached on a sailing boat. Canoeist will find the sandy beach on the north shore the easiest place for landing.
